Delete your account
You have the right to delete your account at any time. The steps are below. If you no longer have access to the app, you can contact us directly by email.
Option 1 — In-app (recommended)
- Open the Imperial Fidelity app on your phone.
- Go to Settings → My account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm with your password.
- You will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours.
Option 2 — By email
If you no longer have access to the app, send an email to privacy@imperialmarket.ro with the following:
- Subject: “Imperial Fidelity account deletion request”
- The name and phone number you registered the account with
- The email address you registered the account with
We will verify your identity (we may contact you for confirmation) and delete your account within 30 days at most, as required by GDPR. We typically complete requests within 5 business days.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we will delete:
- Your email address and phone number
- Your name and password
- Your virtual loyalty card
- Your push notification token
- Your app preferences and settings
- Your history of viewed promotions
What is retained (legal obligation)
Under Romanian tax legislation (Romanian Fiscal Code, OUG 28/1999, and Art. 25 of the Accounting Law), we are required to retain fiscal receipts associated with your transactions for 10 years. After your account is deleted:
- Fiscal receipts remain in our accounting systems, but are no longer associated with your personal identity.
- They will not appear in any interface, and we will not be able to reconstruct your history from them.
